That still may be true, but the Chandler Police may also have declared war on the Mexicans in the area of downtown Chandler.
Lunch at Pirate's Fish and Chips
Thursday when I ate lunch at Pirate's Fish and Chips I talked to some Mexicans who had a cool dog in a wheelbarral that was made into a bicycle trailer.
They told me that the Chandler Police had shaken them down for no other reason then they had brown skin.
I showed them copies of the YouTube video of the false arrest on their cell phone and also showed them this web page.
The Pirate's Fish and Chips is about a half mile from the Wal-Mart where I was falsely arrested by the Chandler Police.
Then I read an article what follows about how the Chandler Police had arrested a Mexican for taking a leek in an alley in the same area.
Jose Sanchez-Benitez was arrested by the Chandler cops for taking a leak in what seems to the the ally behind the Payless Market at 390 S. Arizona Avenue.
That store is between the Pirates Fish and Chips that I ate lunch at and the Wal-Mart I was falsely arrested at.
I always call the Payless Market by it's name in Spanish which is "Carniceria Los Chinos", which in English is something like "Chinese Meat Market" or "Chinese Butcher Shop".
With that in mind I suspect the racist Chandler Police may have some type of saturation foot patrols or sweeps going on where they are terrorizing the Latinos in the Mexican neighborhoods in the downtown area.
When I was arrested I didn't see the first pig drive up in a car. He might have been walking. I know the last pig drove up in an unmarked SUV. I am not sure if the second pig had a car, although in the back of my mind I think he did.
Pehaps I was shaken down and falsely arrested by the Chandler Police because I have dark skin and look like a light skinned Mexican.
Or maybe because I also look like a homeless person and the cops want to run the homeless folks out of Chandler???
Of course the real question here is why are the Chandler police shaking down Mexicans and homeless people instead of hunting down real criminals?
I suspect the answer is it is a lot easier and safer to shake down homeless folks and Mexicans then it is to hunt down real criminals!
Also if you are a racist cop who hates Mexicans it's a lot more fun to terrorize Mexicans then it is to hunt down real criminals.
It would be funny if the racist cops are shaking down Mexicans, because one of the pigs that falsely arrested me was a Black cop.

A Chandler man was arrested Wednesday after he was accused of urinating on a wall in public, according to court documents.
Jose Sanchez-Benitez, 51, was arrested on suspicion of urinating in public after a police officer noticed him urinating on a wall in the 390 block of S. Arizona Avenue, police said.
He was arrested after the officer spotted him urinating on the back wall of a Payless Market, police said. A puddle of urine at his feet as well as spots on his pants supported the accusations against him, police said.
